Clif consortium and Research

There is no multicenter organization specifically aimed at promoting research projects on Chronic Liver Failure, this is exactly the gap the CLIF Consortium fills. By combining the experience and resources of the research groups working on Chronic Liver Failure and with the support of EASL (European Association for the Study of the Liver) this will bring about improved coordination and interaction between the groups both basic and clinical with the aim of enticing young investigators and new groups into the field and also improving financial support from public research agencies and industry.

The CLIF Consortium aims to perform large multicentre epidemiological, pathophysiological and particularly therapeutic studies and to stimulate research in the field.

This platform intends to facilitate the labour of clinical investigators by centralizing initiatives and adding functionalities with high added value.
